Saint Frances Cabrini Parish in West Bend, Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Liturgy and Music. The Coordinator’s primary area of responsibility is the musical support of the weekend and Holy Day liturgies at the parish. This person should have a love of the full breadth of the liturgical musical tradition of the Catholic Church, and should have some prior experience in liturgical musical ministry. Position Title: Coordinator of Liturgy and Music

Compensation: Salaried. Based on annual Archdiocesan personnel survey and personnel committee recommendation and an average of 20 hours a week. Note that all weddings and funerals provide stipends in addition to the base salary for the position.

Status: Part-time, non-exempt, overtime eligible for all hours worked over 40 hours per week. See employee handbook for overtime rules.

Primary Function of This Position:

The Coordinator of Liturgy and Music is responsible with the pastor for ensuring and fostering the fitting praise and worship of God according to the received tradition of the Catholic Church and in accord with liturgical norms.

Major Responsibilities and Regular Activities:

• Choosing and planning music for the Sunday and Holy Day Masses. This is done in conversation with the pastor/associate pastor as needed.
• Ensuring music is provided for the parish liturgies for Sundays, Holy Days, and other special celebrations. This requires providing in person coverage for two (at a minimum) to four of the weekend Masses in person as schedule allows, and coordinating musical coverage for the remaining Sunday/ Holy Day Masses not covered in person, utilizing the existing area network of musicians and vocalists.
• Coordinating and directing parish choirs as time allows; coordinating musicians and subs; supporting cantors.
• Ensuring that music is provided for funeral liturgies either in person or helping to find a musician when the Coordinator is not able to be there.
• Offering/ensuring music is provided (either in person or scheduling another minister) at other special liturgical celebrations of the parish or school on a case by case basis.
• Meet with engaged couples to plan wedding liturgies, and provide music for the weddings as time allows, or, offer assistance to guest vocalists and musicians.
• Attends two, 90 minute pastoral staff meetings each month. Attends four prayer and worship committee meetings each year.
• Helps oversee the worship space, acting as a resource to liturgical volunteers as needed.
• Maintains a working inventory of all liturgical/musical resources and supplies; helps fill new orders for supplies as needed in coordination with other parish support staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the pastor.

Knowing this position is part time, the following duties are able to be assumed by other parish volunteers or paid staff members. As time passes or parish needs change, the Coordinator has the option to perform or oversee any of the following to the extent that his/her time and interest allows:
School liturgies, meeting with families to plan funerals, preparing and printing orders of worship, preparing Universal Prayers, training all volunteer lectors, servers, ushers, and Extraordinary Ministers, scheduling these same ministers, decoration of the worship space.

• Prayer and Worship Committee; attends Pastoral Staff meetings as required

• Dedication to personal prayer
• Knowledge of the Catholic liturgical tradition
• Skills in at least one of the following: organ, piano, conducting, or, voice
• Must be able to work with all ages effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills that utilize contemporary media.

Education, training and/or experience:
• Preferred though not required: Degree in Music
• Experience volunteering or working in a parish setting.
• Networking with others involved on liturgy in a local and national level
• Must be a Catholic in full communion with the Catholic Church

Saint Mary’s Immaculate Conception Parish and Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, West Bend, Wisconsin, are looking for a Shared Pastoral Care Minister (or ministers), either Full or Part Time.

This position coordinates ministry associated with homebound, sick and dying parishioners of both Immaculate Conception Parish and Saint Frances Cabrini Parish. This includes, but is not limited to, Eucharistic Ministry, hospital, nursing home, retirement and private home visits. Provides bereavement ministries, pastoral care events and other needs as assigned by the pastor. This position will also work to coordinate Senior Adult Ministry opportunities.

We will be eager to interview candidates who would like to work full time (30 to 40 hours per week), as well as those who would like to work part time (20 hours per week).

• Formal education in Catholic theology preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in pastoral care settings recommended
• Applicant must be a Catholic in full communion with the Church.

The Ministry Clerical Assistant will work to meet the day-to-day clerical support of the Director of Catholic Formation as well as other basic clerical needs for parish ministries. This is a part time position, 8-12 hours (hours flexible, schedule preferred during office hours 8:30am to 5:00pm M-F).

Primary Function of This Position:
The Ministry Clerical Assistant will work to meet the day-to-day clerical support of the Director of Catholic Formation as well as other basic clerical needs for parish ministries.

Major Responsibilities and Regular Activities:

• Offers administrative support primarily to the Director of Catholic Formation.
• Prepares letters, reports, and correspondence related to the departments.
• Establishes office record-keeping systems for faith formation and liturgical record keeping.
• Responsible for entering, and updating all student information throughout the year.
• Orders supplies as directed/approved by the Director of Catholic Formation.
• Coordinates the scheduling of rooms, catechetical events and activities with the parish office.
• Organize materials for sacrament preparation programs.
• Manages liturgical ministry schedules and establish a process for assigning and recruiting liturgical ministers throughout the year.
• Other duties as assigned
