Attending the Baptismal Preparation Class and Scheduling a Baptism
Congratulations on the birth (or soon to be birth) of your child!
We are in the process of updating our baptism preparation process. Please contact Katie Schaitberger, Shared Pastoral Associate for Immaculate Conception Saint Mary and Saint Frances Cabrini Parishes to get more information on our baptismal preparation process. We look forward to hearing from you. There are only a few simple steps to preparing you and your child for their baptism.
#1 Set up a meeting with the Director of Evangelization — Please call 262-338-2366, ext 114 or email Katie at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a short meeting. At this time, we will fill out the necessary paperwork and discuss the next steps.
#2 Attend a Baptism Preparation Class
After meeting with our Shared Pastoral Associate, you may be asked to take a baptism preparation class. The baptism class can be taken at any time in advance of the actual date of the Baptism. Parents must attend this class and the godparents are encouraged to attend (here or at their own parish). Baptism classes are often once a month, Katie will let you know the next classes when you meet.
PLEASE NOTE: The date of the Baptism will not be scheduled until meeting with Katie Schaitberger, Shared Pastoral Associate for both Saint Frances Cabrini and Immaculate Conception parishes.
If the parents would like a Baptism Preparation Class in Spanish, please contact the parish office.
