Joe Vespalec -Pastoral Council Chairperson-Liason to local councils

Hello I’m Joe Vespalec. I have been married to Andrea for 30 years. We have two boys, Matthew 24 and Brett 20. We came into full Communion with the Catholic Church here at Saint Frances Cabrini during the Easter Vigil in 2013. That’s a night I will never forget. I Just recently I had the opportunity to experience the discernment process for joining the Parish Council. It was a beautiful night filled with the Holy Spirit. I feel blessed being chosen to sit on this Council. It means so much to me to be part of a great group of people that help SFC grow in every way. I look forward to the challenges ahead as we embark on the next year.

Over the past two years I have been part of the Discipleship Small Group as a group leader. I have had the opportunity to help out with the youth as a chaperone for SFHD. I have volunteered as an Usher and a Eucharistic minister. I am also a member of the choir.

Saint Frances Cabrini is blessed with so many wonderful people. I truly feel like I am part of a big family of God here. I look forward to the next three years as a member of the Parish Counsil and the opportunity to help SFC grow as we face the challenges ahead.

My husband Paul and I joined the parish when we moved to West Bend several years ago as empty nesters.  We were both fortunate to have been part of strong Catholic communities during our grade school years (Mother of Good Counsel in Milwaukee), and high school years (Marquette and Divine Savior Holy Angels high schools, respectively). We have been married since 1987, and when we started our family, we chose the same, raising our two daughters, Katie and Becca, while active parishioners at St. Mary’s Menomonee Falls.  We were fortunate to be able to have them continue their Catholic education through high school (Divine Savior Holy Angels) and college.  Catherine completed her undergraduate and law degree at Creighton University in  Omaha.  Rebecca completed her undergraduate degree at Marquette.

I look forward to sharing my gifts as an active participant here at SFC, now as a new member of the pastoral council, and as a continuing volunteer with religious education, art and environment, finance and school committees, or wherever the spirit directs me.

Lynn Corazzi-Pastoral Council Secretary-Liaison to the Finance Committee

My wife, Tina, and I have been members of St. Frances Cabrini since moving to West Bend in 2001. We have three grown children who were all confirmed at Cabrini. Five years ago I joined a Discipleship Small Group. Besides meeting new friends, DSG has helped me grow significantly in my faith and understanding of our Church. I would recommend it to to anyone! Through it, I also got involved with the Greeter Ministry.
I am excited to begin my second year serving on the Parish Council and joining the finance committee. When our kids were younger, Tina taught religious education. This year I’m following her footsteps and look forward a new experience as a Catechist. Outside of Cabrini, I also serve on the board of Habitat for Humanity.

Anne Marie Danaher-Liaison to the Prayer and Worship Committee

My name is Anne Marie Danaher and I am a lifelong member of Saint Frances Cabrini and SFC School alum.  I married my husband, James in 1999 and together we have 5 children.  Three of our children are currently attending  Saint Frances Cabrini school, one is in High School, and our baby Dominic will be class of 2026 at SFC.   I have been blessed to be able to stay at home with my children after working for many years in government and politics.

My family is an active parish family, and I have a strong commitment to preserving and promoting Catholic education in West Bend.  In the past I have focused my volunteer time on SFC school and have worked for many years on the school auction, chairing different committees and chairing the event in 2013.   I am eager to serve in the role of council member and share my talents and gifts in that capacity.

Sara SauerSara Sauer-Liaison to the School Committee

I am Sara Sauer and a member of Saint Frances Cabrini since 2006. My husband, Bob, and I met many years ago and married in 2012 at Saint Frances Cabrini when we came back into each other’s lives. We have four children: Three are at Saint Frances Cabrini School and our oldest is a recent graduate of Cabrini and starting his freshman year at West Bend East. I work with the Department of Veterans Affairs and enjoy serving our veterans.
I currently do numerous volunteer opportunities with the parish school through scouts, various auction duties, classroom parent, and extra-curriculars. I help the parish through greeting as masses and washing the serving robes for the Christmas mass. I enjoy pastoral council, and the opportunities it offers to serve our parish.

Randy Lucka-Liaison to the Human Concerns Committee

My wife Pam has been a member of Saint Frances Cabrini for over 25 years. I started attending Mass with her about 20 years ago and found myself wanting more out of my faith than my current religion was giving me. In 2003 I started RICA classes and received my first communion at the Easter Vigil in 2004. Together we have 6 children (3 that went to SFC school) and 5 grandchildren. I feel like I have found a wonderful faith family here at SFC and have been blessed with the opportunity to be the SFC Cub Master, Boys’ Basketball coach, Parish Trustee, and now this new opportunity on Pastoral Council. This past July, Pam and I celebrated 20th Anniversary by having our Marriage Validated in the church by Fr Nathan.

Dave Zimbal-Liaison to the Finance Committee

My name is Dave Zimbal and I am a lifelong member of Saint Frances Cabrini. I married my wife, Jill in 1995 and together we have 2 children. Both of our children attended Saint Frances Cabrini School and currently are in college. I am employed with Manitou (formerly Gehl Company) for 28 years.
I am currently an usher and a member of the Greeter Ministry. Previously I served on the School Board committee. During my tenure on School Board I was a liaison to the Finance Committee. I also assisted with coaching the boys’ basketball team while my son played.

My wife Laura and I re-joined the Saint Frances Cabrini Parish with our three daughters, Alyssa, Emily and Megan, in 1998 after moving from Brookfield back to West Bend. Our daughters attended SFC school as did Laura. My past involvement at Cabrini includes the school board and the finance council. I continue to be involved in Catholic Youth Mission trips (CYMT), Confirmation retreats and as a Eucharistic minister. I am part of the CYMT CORE Team and am currently serving as a parish trustee.
I retired from UPS after 38 years and now work part-time at Milwaukee School of Engineering as a Senior Lecturer. One of my three goals when I retired was to grow my faith. In my involvement with the areas mentioned above, I feel I am actively reaching towards that goal and continue to better understand and grow my faith.

HerdrichMary Herdrich – Parish Trustee Secretary

I first joined Saint Frances Cabrini when I moved to West Bend in 1995. I am a Project Manager at West Bend Mutual Insurance Company, where I’ve worked for over 20 years. My husband Jon is a Pharmacy Manager with Agnesian Health Care; a Catholic based health care system in Fond du Lac. We have three children. Ryan, Brienna and Nathan Peplinski. Nathan attended Saint Frances Cabrini School.

I grew up in Stevens Point and attended catholic schools from Kindergarten until I graduated from Pacelli High School. My Catholic education taught me how important and rewarding it is to be involved in your community of faith. My first volunteer experience at Saint Frances Cabrini was teaching religious education classes. I later became chair of the school board, helped on the auction decorating committee, chaperoned a confirmation retreat and a Steubenville trip. I’ve served on our personnel committee and currently serve as the parish Trustee-Secretary.  I feel very honored and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful faith community.
