Prayer and Worship Committee

“Using the gifts through prayer and worship to expand our faith in our everyday lives.” The Prayer and Worship Committee works to nourish and give direction to the liturgical aspects of parish life. There are many ministry opportunities for involvement including: the Prayer and Worship committee, Art and Environment group, ministers of hospitality (greeters and ushers), lectors, adult mass servers, student mass servers, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, technology assistants, sacristans, maintaining altar linens, church cleaning, and musicians. The Parish has a children’s choir, Resurrection choir, and Sunday Mass choir, as well as a contemporary ensemble. New choir members are always welcome and one may audition for roles as accompanists, cantors and instrumentalists. Administrative tasks under this committee include: liturgy office volunteers, music librarians, coordinators for ushers, sacristans, altar linens, church cleaning, art and environment, and assistance processing audio visual materials along with other duties required by the Director of Music.
