Prayer Shawls

Shawls are given, upon request, to anyone undergoing or recovering from medical procedures; as a comfort after a loss; during bereavement or during an illness and the recovery of that illness.

These shawls are a comfort to anyone in need of physical, spiritual or emotional comfort.

A blessing by the group, and individually, is offered before, during, and after completion of the shawls.Completed shawls are also blessed by one of our priests before being given. Each Shawl Maker donates their time.
Ways you can be involved:

• Work on your shawl at home.
• Request a shawl for a friend or loved one.
• Make a monetary donation for supplies. Your kind contributions are always welcome.
