K4 – 10th Grade ROOTED
Family Sessions 2024-2025Rooted Sessions are twice per month. Families with students in grades K4-10 attend one session per month together. There is an additional session per month for students only. Classes will be held at Saint Frances Cabrini School.
- Family Sessions: Families will attend one Sunday at the beginning of each month. We will begin with an activity for parents and students to participate in together. After that, students in grades K4-7 will have lessons in their classrooms. Parents will meet in the Multi-purpose room to listen to a talk given by one of our priests. Grades 8-10 will also be in the Multi-purpose room for the first half of Father’s talk, and then will proceed to classrooms for small group discussion. This model gives families an opportunity for faith formation together and individually. Childcare will be offered at the Family Rooted Sunday sessions for children under age four. (Registration is required.)
- Student-Only Sessions: The second session of the month will be for the K4-10th grade students only. These will take place in the classrooms. (There is no childcare during these sessions.) *Please note that if your child attends SFC School, you only need to attend the Family Sessions once/month.

Sacraments of Initiation: First Communion (&First Reconciliation) and Confirmation
Students must participate in ROOTED Family Formation Program, At-Home program, OR attend a Catholic School at least one year prior to entering the preparation program for First Communion and First Reconciliation, and two years prior to entering the Confirmation program. There is also a separate fee for sacramental preparation to help cover the cost of the retreats. Please click on the links above for more information.
